Welcome to Daisy Chain Ceremonies
“Caring for your family…. as my own”
Welcome to my website I am Victoria (Vicky) Wesley and I have been honoured to work in the funeral profession for almost 40 years. I began my journey when I was just 15 years old working in my family’s funeral directors in the North West and was so proud when I qualified as a funeral director three years later.
I proudly served our local families for a number of years, becoming part of the communities I worked in. I am still in contact with many of the families I have helped over the years and now count them as friends and I am so grateful to be involved in their celebrations as well as honoured to help them say goodbye to their loved ones.
Time and life move on though and I continued my journey within the corporate funeral world, which came with an opportunity to move to the South coast, helping me to realise a personal dream, living by the sea!
After a while here I realised working for a corporation no longer allowed me to provide care for families on a personal level and this is where my passion and heart has always rested, helping and guiding families through what is possibly the hardest time of their lives and of course helping them to remember, commemorate and celebrate their loved one’s life.
So in 2016 I began a new chapter and left the corporate world behind and came back to the beginning, back to caring for families now in my role as a celebrant, helping people to remember, to love and to never forget.
Funeral Services and Celebrations of Life
“Grieving may be universal, but we all do it in our own unique way”
Each person lives a unique life and it is my belief, that a funeral service should reflect this, paying tribute to and celebrating the life of your loved one, and also acknowledging the pain and loss you the family are feeling.
I will come and see you and your family and explain all the options that are available to you, as a family. We will discuss the music, memories, reading and poems that you would like for the funeral service and if your family would like to share their memories in the service, I will support you to achieve this.
Every ceremony will be individually designed for you and you will receive a draft copy for your approval, keeping you involved in the service and at the heart of the service will be your loved one. I have worked in the funeral industry for 40 years and I passionately believe that.
“saying goodbye is just as important as saying hello”
Together we will make sure your loved one has a funeral service that truly reflects their life, celebrates their achievements and everything that was important to them.
Together we will remember.
Over my career I have mourned and cried with families at times, but I have also celebrated with them too and when the time comes for you to smile, I would be honoured to share those occasions with you also, please contact me for
Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Renewal of Vows, Naming Ceremonies
As with everything I do, each service will be individually composed with your input and beliefs at the forefront. Together we will create a beautiful ceremony that reflects you and your family and the occasion we are celebrating together.

At one of the worst times in our lives we were lucky enough to have Vicky arranging our mums service. At our initial meeting she got us to talk about mum and wanted our views on what the service should be like. She listened intently and came across as very caring. When we received the copy of the draft service it showed just how much she had listened. I asked for a few little tweaks (that was just down to me) which Vicky duly did. The ceremony on the day (6th June 2019) was just perfect. Mum wouldn't have wanted a fuss and we didn't want anything too gushing and Vicky got it absolutely spot on. Other people who attended the funeral had nothing but praise for the service itself and the way Vicky presented it. Thanks again for everything.

Dear Vicky, I wanted to say thank you so much for the wonderful way you conducted the service for Geoff yesterday. Your delivery and timing was heartfelt and so clear, it completely captured the man he was, even though you didnt get to meet him, but I know you would have hit it off if you had I have arranged family funerals before and found it hard to write a eulogy, I was expecting to have to do the same but you took all that on and wrote it all out after just sitting down and chatting with me about Geoff and his life. Your guidance on how best to construct and present it was invaluable and it was such a comfort to know that was all taken care of. So many people said what a lovely service it was and we will be forever grateful to you for making it such a perfect day.

Dear Vicky, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the kindness, thoughtfulness, and support you provided throughout the process of arranging my dads funeral service. Your guidance made a difficult time easier to navigate, and your care ensured that everything came together in a way that truly reflected him. Your eulogy captured the essence of who Dad was, and my mum was especially touched by your words. Many of those who attended shared how much they appreciated hearing the memories and stories you brought to life. It was a heartfelt tribute to Dad, and we are grateful for the way you helped shape it. Throughout the entire process, I felt reassured knowing I could turn to you for support. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and your patience and professionalism made all the difference. Weve heard so many lovely comments about the service, people appreciated its sincerity and warmth, and it felt like a true reflection of Dad. Thank you again for everything. Warmest wishes, Leica

Vicky made us all feel completely at ease, from the moment she arrived to meet with us. Her lovely warm, down to earth yet professional approach left us feeling in safe hands from the outset. Leading up to Dads service, Vicky was happy to make as many amendments as necessary, to ensure the content and detail were just right. On the day, Vickys welcome to our family was so encouraging and numerous guests commented afterwards on what a lovely service it was and how brilliantly Vicky delivered her parts. Vicky knew just the right thing to say as Mum left the chapel and, yet again, her depth of experience and lovely personality shone through. Thank you Vicky, it would have been a much more difficult day without you. We wont hesitate to recommend you!
