Welcome to Daisy Chain Ceremonies
“Caring for your family…. as my own”
Welcome to my website I am Victoria (Vicky) Wesley and I have been honoured to work in the funeral profession for almost 40 years. I began my journey when I was just 15 years old working in my family’s funeral directors in the North West and was so proud when I qualified as a funeral director three years later.
I proudly served our local families for a number of years, becoming part of the communities I worked in. I am still in contact with many of the families I have helped over the years and now count them as friends and I am so grateful to be involved in their celebrations as well as honoured to help them say goodbye to their loved ones.
Time and life move on though and I continued my journey within the corporate funeral world, which came with an opportunity to move to the South coast, helping me to realise a personal dream, living by the sea!
After a while here I realised working for a corporation no longer allowed me to provide care for families on a personal level and this is where my passion and heart has always rested, helping and guiding families through what is possibly the hardest time of their lives and of course helping them to remember, commemorate and celebrate their loved one’s life.
So in 2016 I began a new chapter and left the corporate world behind and came back to the beginning, back to caring for families now in my role as a celebrant, helping people to remember, to love and to never forget.
Funeral Services and Celebrations of Life
“Grieving may be universal, but we all do it in our own unique way”
Each person lives a unique life and it is my belief, that a funeral service should reflect this, paying tribute to and celebrating the life of your loved one, and also acknowledging the pain and loss you the family are feeling.
I will come and see you and your family and explain all the options that are available to you, as a family. We will discuss the music, memories, reading and poems that you would like for the funeral service and if your family would like to share their memories in the service, I will support you to achieve this.
Every ceremony will be individually designed for you and you will receive a draft copy for your approval, keeping you involved in the service and at the heart of the service will be your loved one. I have worked in the funeral industry for 40 years and I passionately believe that.
“saying goodbye is just as important as saying hello”
Together we will make sure your loved one has a funeral service that truly reflects their life, celebrates their achievements and everything that was important to them.
Together we will remember.
Over my career I have mourned and cried with families at times, but I have also celebrated with them too and when the time comes for you to smile, I would be honoured to share those occasions with you also, please contact me for
Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Renewal of Vows, Naming Ceremonies
As with everything I do, each service will be individually composed with your input and beliefs at the forefront. Together we will create a beautiful ceremony that reflects you and your family and the occasion we are celebrating together.

Good Morning Vicky, We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the wonderful service you led for our son, Toby. It was truly perfect in every way. As a family, we couldn’t have asked for a more touching and moving tribute. Many of the mourners shared with us how extraordinary it was. You captured Toby’s spirit so beautifully—one person even said that although they hadn’t known him before, by the end, they felt like they did. Your words gave us comfort, and they gave Toby a voice that we will forever cherish. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for honouring Toby in such a special way. We will never forget it. With all our love and thanks, Craig, Debbie, Claire, James and the rest of the family xx

I would like to thank Vicky from the bottom of my heart. Vicky was professional coming to our house which I was nervous about. Vicky fitted right in and felt like a old friend than anything else. To be honest even though this was the hardest time of my life it was nice to go back through dads life with Vicky on the sofa - was some comfort in that. Mum also felt the same way which put me at ease. - and it was nice to hear things that I've never heard before. Vicky sent a draft copy of the service which i wanted a few things changed and this was done with ease and was mentioned in the service ( was fantastic ). Vicky on the day was incredible. Vicky spoke about dad as if she knew him ( was a real personal touch ) - there was humor / sadness and lovely stories. Just gave dad the best send off which the watts family will be forever grateful. One thing I will say is that Vicky treated my Mum like a friend and gave her a white rose from Dad. - which words cant describe how lovely that was. We couldn't have asked for better. I thank you Vicky for everything you did. Your one of a kind. Hope to hear from you again ( hopefully in better circumstances) Love from Kylie and Karen Watts

Dear Vicky, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the kindness, thoughtfulness, and support you provided throughout the process of arranging my dad’s funeral service. Your guidance made a difficult time easier to navigate, and your care ensured that everything came together in a way that truly reflected him. Your eulogy captured the essence of who Dad was, and my mum was especially touched by your words. Many of those who attended shared how much they appreciated hearing the memories and stories you brought to life. It was a heartfelt tribute to Dad, and we are grateful for the way you helped shape it. Throughout the entire process, I felt reassured knowing I could turn to you for support. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and your patience and professionalism made all the difference. We’ve heard so many lovely comments about the service—people appreciated its sincerity and warmth, and it felt like a true reflection of Dad. Thank you again for everything. Warmest wishes, Leica

Vicky made us all feel completely at ease, from the moment she arrived to meet with us. Her lovely warm, down to earth yet professional approach left us feeling in safe hands from the outset. Leading up to Dads service, Vicky was happy to make as many amendments as necessary, to ensure the content and detail were just right. On the day, Vickys welcome to our family was so encouraging and numerous guests commented afterwards on what a lovely service it was and how brilliantly Vicky delivered her parts. Vicky knew just the right thing to say as Mum left the chapel and, yet again, her depth of experience and lovely personality shone through. Thank you Vicky, it would have been a much more difficult day without you. We wont hesitate to recommend you!

We cannot thank Victoria enough for the incredible care and compassion while conducting our boys funeral in 2024. From the very first time Victoria came to our home to meet us prior to the service, her warm and friendly manner in such a difficult situation made such a difference. On the day itself, Victoria perfectly captured the love we shared for our boys and their short but inspiring time on earth. Thank you for giving us such a meaningful and comforting service.
